MacOS Sonoma Backspace Text Issue

Peggie

Hello,

We are having issues in office with compatibility between ArchiCAD 27 and macOS Sonoma.

Our files are crashing when backspacing in text box, obviously creating an issue and slowing down work flow (along with the stress).

I understand this is a macOS issue, not ArchiCAD as my computer which has macOS Big Sur doesn't have the same issues (and reading articles about it).

My question is: has anyone successfully fixed this issue? Even if it's downgrading to an older macOS version.

Thanks in advance!

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based Sonoma

Is your Archicad up to date?

I am pretty sure there was a fix for this in a recent update.

Hi Barry,

I had read that it wasn't a ArchiCAD issue, so we haven't tried to update it from the forum.

Would you happen to know which update it is?

Thanks!

Just install the latest update (5060).

If you want to you can look at the older updates and read through the list of fixes ('Learn more' link).

I am pretty sure it was build 5003.
