What is the best monitor to use with a MacBook Pro to run Archicad and to watch the occasional movie? (Along with some word processing and web surfing; no need for gaming or photo editing.) Which should I avoid?
There are a zillion contenders and I need to find some sort of basis on which to make a choice.

The cheapest one on sale would be my pick.

At a place that lets you return if any pixels are faulty.

Once you find the bargain, see if it is not recommended using user reviews.
