Hello all, I'm looking to buy a new macbook and was wondering if the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M with 256MB of shared DDR3 SDRAM will be enough to run ArchiCAD 12 and C4D doing complex models or will I need to get the Mac Book Pro?

rumour has it delayed - whether for quad-core remains to be seen.
regardless - i wouldn't want to work in archicad on such small screens these days. the 17" is passable for sure, but the 13" and 15" are just too small to be efficient.
hang on a couple of months and see how it all pans out.

Meh. just read that the much-touted '2 GPUs' feature in the new MBP is not so cool as it seems: http://osnews.com/story/20396/Clarification_Apple_s_Dual_GPU_Setup
Sure it has 2 GPUs, but you can only use 1 at a time, and you have to log off and then back on again to change. What a waste of time!
