Woke up to this today. Upgraded and installed so long ago I have no idea where to go for this information. Can someone give me a refresh an what to do?

Kind of hard to accomplish anything in this state.

Not a very happy Easter for you David.

Looks like the system isn't reading your keyplug.

Shooting in the dark here but what I'd try is:
1. A different USB port
2. Uninstalling / reinstalling Codemeter drivers
3. Running the latest GS License Manager Tool

Thanks. #3 did it.
Question I have is what is a "GRAPHISOFT ID"?
Do I have one and if so how do I find out what it is? I would assume I have been chugging along here for a couple of years with no problems and have had no reason to interact with License Manager Tool and maybe I don't have a Graphisoft ID? Could that possibly be myarchicad.com ID?
thanks!

Glad it worked David.

Not 100% sure if the MyARCHICAD ID works or not. You could try the lost password method of determining if you already have an account. If you do, it will send a new password to your registered email ID. If you don't, it will complain that no such email ID is registered.

GRAPHISOFT ID is basically one ID you can use on multiple GS sites like GRAPHISOFT.com, BIMcomponents.com, BIMx site, MyarchiCAD.com, I think even the beta site. Unfortunately, the list does not include ARCHICAD-Talk at this moment:

https://graphisoftid.graphisoft.com/#/login

It is the same idea as a Google ID, which also grants you access to a lot of Google Site.
I guess the future direction will be one GRAPHISOFT ID for all GRAPHISOFT sites so you need to keep track of one User Name/password.

I hope that doesn't happen... unless they stop requiring a fresh login every single day!

Vistasp,

Do you mean you would like to stay logged into sites requiring Graphisoft ID?

That's right Laszlo. Here, on AC-talk, I'm logged in for months on end and I don't need to go through the extra step of logging in to reply to a post. The same is not the case on the GDL forum which uses the GRAPHISOFT ID. I have to admit, though, that most of the stuff there is out of my league so I hardly ever have something useful to contribute.

Still, if the same thing were to be required on this forum, it would be a bit of a pain.

I like the fact that with this forum you can tick the box to remember user name and password.
That way even if you do close it completely it will log in automatically when you re-open it.

Those sites with the Graphisoft ID don't have this option.
Silly thing is you can click in the user name and password fields and they will auto-populate and then you can login - so why not just remember the details and auto-login.
Just a couple of extra clicks but it is a bit frustrating to have to do it for every Graphisoft site - even when you have just logged in to one already.

I agree, keeping people logged in would be a useful addition to how the GRAPHISOFT ID works.
