Good to hear you're running better. Do you still have QuickTime installed and running in your startup programs? Often when you view a QuickTime file it will attempt to install itself in the startup registry, as previously mentioned so do a lot of other programs, and in my experience, perhaps with just certain Nvidia card-driver combinations
along with
QuickTime it would hang up ArchiCAD. Blocking it via the MSConfig>Startup registry works pretty well and the, see attachment, [also aforementioned] micro$oft free spyware has a very simple to use registry editor which
always blocks any programs you select. These registry editors don't keep the programs from running on demand, just from running all the time. Just the way you want them to run.
All I know is I was about to go CRAZY and this no longer an issue,
at all, since I made these simple changes.
Lastly, not knowing just how large Budapest is I'd try "visiting" GS headquarters, since you're right there. But that's just me.....
Good Luck!
