Hi,

I'm buying a new laptop and need to run the Archicad 11 or 12. Could someone tell me which one would be better?

HARD DRIVE 160GB SATA Hard Drive
VIDEO CARD 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8400M GS (64bit)

or

Sony Vaio VGN-FW15GW

Processor Technology: Intel® Centrino® 2 Processor Technology, Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor P8400 (2.26GHz)
Processor System Bus: 1066MHz
Cache Memory: 3MB

The Sony seems better.
Its processor has a higher frequency so it is faster.
Its hard drive is larger.
Its graphics card is also faster as far as I know.

I seem to recall Archicad recommends at least 256 for video. You might want to check that first.
