I have the educational version of Archicad 13, it was working perfectly until recently - I am not very knowledgable about computers and suspect that a program or component has been accidentally removed from my laptop to cause this problem, which is as follows:
When I click on the Archicad icon the initial screen comes up, the one with an image of a building, and then it freezes and nothing happens until I force the program to shut down. I have tried uninstalling and re-downloading/reinstalling both Archicad 13 and 14 but am having the same problem every time I try to open it.
My laptop is a Sony Vaio with 4GB of RAM, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8400 @ 2.26GHz 2.27 GHz. I am using Windows 7 - if more information is needed please let me know, as I said I'm not the most computer literate.
Thanks in advance for any help.
