After a Full System Rebuild & a new install including Wiping the HDDs 7 Times & Running Hardware tests Over night I have Still got Dual Icons
I Have NOT however got a save problem anymore.
The path to the last saved/opened folder is still VIA network but that i can live with as long as Archicad/OSX opens/saves to/from the correct locations
I have no idea what or why or anything else.

EDIT: it is still only in ArchiCAD i see dual icons

The icons in the side panel are aliases with changed default icons (not sure if this is a considered hack or not) the same icons i used in panther & done by changing the icon in get info as described in a macosx manual
