ArchiCAD uses a USB dongle - a small USB key that is plugged into the computer - to verify the software license.
Do you have one? It defines the license. Look in the box.
There is a special software driver called WIBU Key that communicates with the key. It is normally installed with ArchiCAD automatically. Perhaps you need to update this driver by visiting WIBU's web site.
In no time you will have ArchiCAD going and then you will be ready to really launch ArchiCAD ... off the roof.
