Is this not working at all or just intermittently? Have you checked your shortcuts? Go to Options> Work Environment> Keyboard Shortcuts and hit the "Show shortcut list in browser" button.

Hi Stuart, no its started since I got a new computer, Its weird because the key command is definitely showing ctrl+M, however when I go to re-apply Ctrl+M in the keyboard shortcut, nothing is happening, its like Archicad doesnt want to recognise Ctrl + M

I wonder if CTRL-M is a standard Windows 7 shortcut for something - happens on the Mac sometimes.

I've since reinstalled Windows and Archicad but I was having a similar problem. I would loose several keys on the keyboard like " and . and m. It was only Archicad that was doing it. I would have to restart AC to fix it. But I don't think it would do it to every instance that happened to be running at the moment.
I use a US version so I notice the loss of the " more than the loss of the m key as I have to input inches often. If you happen to be using a metric version when it happens next time, check to see if " has stopped working as well.
It's not happening anymore. I can't tell you if that's because of the reinstall or if there was a new patch I didn't correlate with the problem being fixed.

zeropointreference,
If the problem returns and you can't use " there are some other ways to input inches. I know this isn't a solution to your problem, but at least it's some info...
I use / instead of " for inches. Here's a bigger list of other ways:

I've noticed this issue only on those computers that have Windows 7. So, I believe this is some kind of W7 function overriding ArchiCAD.
I haven't gotten a solution and will be all eyes for one.
