Ignacio wrote:Graphisoft even asked us about this back in July 2004 ( or rather they asked DNC and he brought the matter to ArchiTALK).
Why?
We all said NO! I guess that translated as "no."

Seriously though, they are really typing just everything in Windows with the caps lock on and the shift key held down. It's much easier that way.

i wrote a GDL module for a mac text-application called 'subethaedit' once that colour-coded GDL syntax. i had a few problems with it handling the not-so-regular expressions that defined different parts of the code. i haven't touched it since, but if anyone's interested in trying to fix it up and/or polishing it up for archicad 10 it can be downloaded here:
http://homepage.mac.com/archiben/bf/blog/C927308546/E877365798/index.html
as i said, this is unfinished . . . but it will colour-code your archicad 9 GDL syntax if you copy (or simply start) individual script windows one at a time.
and if anyone does make it any better, please can i ask that you post it back here for everyone else to use . . .
thanks
