Add dynamic hotspot, I think!!

I am trying to learn a little GDL but am struggling to find information of how I add a hotspot to text so i can re-position it.
I have managed to make some new parameters so I can edit the text just want to be able to move it around.
Any help much appreciated.

You need to add some editable hotspots - one for the x position and one for the y position.
Then you use those co-ordinates to place your text object.
This will give you a stretchy hotspot in plan allowing you to move the text around.

See if this info from GDL Center helps.
In particular you want the example for ... “pointDistX” and “pointDistY”.

If you have more questions you can ask there or here.
