Is there going to be a library package for addition surface catalogue for version 28 SSA/Forward/subscription users?
When I try to download the additional surfaces the browser says catalogue page can not be found.

I found it by opening the Surface dialog, hitting the globe icon in the bottom left and selecting "Additional Surface Catalog for SSA Users". It takes you to the download site. It worked for me. I'm sure it must authenticate that your license has access to the file first.

That is exactly what I did (see my image).
I will try again when I am back in the office.

The new Catalog does not include an lcf file - it's a libpack file and I have no idea what to do with that. I can't seem to add it in Library Manager.
The guidance mentions an lcf file.
This seems to be broken - unless I'm missing something.

It seems the Additional surfaces are available now.
Yes, it is a Library Pack, but you load that just like you do any other Library Pack.
But you must browse for and select the actual library pack.
You can't load the folder that contains the library pack.

Thanks - working now.
For some reason it wouldn't accept the libpack file. There are 2 versions, the earlier one I downloaded directly from the UAS page didn't work, the v2 version (from the link in the dialog) did.

Clear policy must enter into force for users, including for those who prefer using AI-generated surfaces; thereby, Graphisoft must be fair on that. There shoudn't be a special policy for those who use Artificial Intelligence (AI) surfaces and a different one for those using surfaces from Human Intelligence (HI). Whatever the title a user may hold, the most important thing is to have the tools or surface catalogs necessary to advance the noble cause of ArchiCAD together.

Where do AI surfaces come into this?
There is no such thing as an AI surface in Archicad, unless I am missing something.
You can do an AI render that may change the look of a surface, but that is completely different.
Maybe you can use AI tools to generate an AI surface (not in Archicad), but you still need to save that as an image and associate that to a surface material.
I think you are straying from the original topic and may need to start a new one if you want to discuss this further.

The potential for generating them from ArchiCAD also exists, as I already did it:

So you have created an AI surface in Archicad?
May I ask how?
