Hi all,
I need your help figuring out the reason behind library parts missing in a mod file.
The pln was created in the ArchiCAD 28 UKi template and the library parts display correctly in the pln but not in the mod. See the attached images of the plan display in pln and mod as well as the missing library parts in the mod.
I have checked the missing parts list and uploaded the library folder, reloaded in the mod to match the pln but no luck.
What am I missing?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice!
Operating system used: Windows 10 Pro

Hi
a mod file doesnt include libraries.

Thanks Xandros,
So, I understand that a mod file doesn't include the libraries, only embeded objects... but it's the first time I came accross this issue...creating a module from a basic/simple pln file and windows, doors, furniture don't display in the mod file...don't know if something changed in the structure/set-up of ArchiCAD 28 but never had an issue in the previous versions. Any other suggestions?

A mod file isnt meant to be a file type that works self sustaining. It can be loaded as a hotlink into a pln / teamwork and reloads all its objects via the main file (if the libraries are present). It's not a new future in v28.
What are your goals with this mod file? Loading a library into the opened mod file should be working fine for a session. But as soon as you save it and open it again, the mod file loses those libraries again and you would have to redo this step every single time you open a mod.

It doesn't work even if I upload the libraries in the opened mod file... the objects in the mod just don't display and are flagged as missing parts even after reloading the same libraries as in the original pln. I have been using ArchiCAD for many years but never had issues with mods not displaying windows/doors/furniture.

According to your screenshot, you're loading the wrong libraries. In v28 graphisoft added Global Libraries but also kept the older library system. Probably out of habit you're trying to use the old library system. But the ###.libpack indicates that in the original pln-file the global libraries were used.
There are a lot of topics about global libraries. I suggest checking those or the ArchiCAD help:

Thanks for that...it didn't directly solve it but it gave me the clue that ArchiCAD 28 is indeed introduced a new library system and I had already uploaded the Archicad Library Packages as a folder but it didn't work, parts were still missing and only when I uploaded all the packs from inside the folder it worked ...if that makes sense...
Thanks again for your help
