ArchiPipe Object is painfully slow to edit in 3d or Section window

I have a pipe object called ArchiPipe vr 1.3 that I used to use quite happily on an Apple Mac in Archicad 24. Now I'm working in ArchiCAD 28 but if I try to stretch the object either in the 3d window or the Section window it takes ages and ArchiCAD "flickers" and sometimes it does what I want but mostly it just deselects it.

 

Is this a "feature" of ArchiCAD 28 Windows or is it the ArchiPipe vr 1.3 object?

 

Operating system used: Windows 11

Well, then... that's a well known bug. Don't use it. Use the pink hotspots instead:
