Archicad tries to stretch objects when inserting

Hi,

I am doing a training exercise and when I insert a newly created object archicad tried to draw a scaling type rectangle, and the object gets scaled in two directions to fit this rectangle.

I would just like one click and the object inserted at 1:1.

How can I reset archicad just to insert the object without all the stretching?

Hi Michael,

In order to achieve that, have a look at the Geometry Method used for inserting objects (you can find that in the Info Box - as shown in the attached image) and choose the first option.
