BIM Components Registration Number

Anonymous
Not applicable
Dear All,

During BIM Components Registration process a number is generated. I am asked to copy it into "ArchiCAD's Registration Number field". Where to find this ArchiCAD's Registration Number field? In ArchiCAD itself, on bimcomponents.com or myarchicad.com?

cheers

When you first try to upload an Object from an Object Settings Dialog or Doors/Window Setting sDailog etc. using the appropriate button in the lower left of the Dialog, that is when you will have to provide this number.
You need to provide it only once.
This way all GDL Objects you upload will be linked to you.

So, two people sharing the same ArchiCAD work station can't be "two" but only "one" BimComponents contributor

Anyway, I think this is really preferable than "anonymous" contributors.

Well, that is a good point.
I guess several people sharing the same computer should have their own User Accounts and log in with their own user accounts.
I would suppose that two different people using the same computer but logging into the computer using different User Accounts will have to provide their own separate IDs when first uploading to the Portal.
However, I haven't tried.
If this is not how it works then that may raise some issues.
