BIMcomponents Homepage - NEW FRESH UPDATED

Hi there,

sometimes I use BIMcompenents and I opened an account for me.

As a test I uploaded an object (via ArchiCAD Uplaod).

It worked and recieved an E-Mail, that the upload worked.

In BIMcompenents I saw this 2-3 days later and with some problems;

-Image View: On direct link I see the preview picture from my object,.... 

-On 3D View; I see nothing, only a big plus sign > then go back to image view > ..... nothing there.... no picture any more....

-To edit my profile Business, Webppage Address etc. don't work..... 

-To edit my object information doesn't work either.... 

-Dito my profil picture and business information.... I press on the buttons.... nothing happens.....

worked for me. clear browser cache and date or try in incognito mode.

Hi there,

the new site is better than the old one.

I have two more questions;

-Keywords for this objects on the homepage work fine. But IN ARCHICAD, when you're looking for online objects (incl. BIMcomp. selection), you can't search with the keywords.... why ? > On homepage its ok, in ArchiCAD won't work !? (as example my object.....). I can wait some seconds, other objects you can see, but not new ones... that I made..... !?

 

 

-Previews on BIMcomp. homepage; object site;

Always I can see preview picture from object (green arrow), but can't see 3D preview..... !? (red arrow);

could it be he same issye where the new version of Archicad does not support older version since I think is 28

No, BIMcomponents will automatically load the old objects into the Embedded Library.

Because they are in a loaded library the old objects will work just fine.

With old objects, all you need to do is load the old library.

They will not migrate to new objects across 27-28 but they can still be used if they are in a loaded library.
