The client is looking to install a bi-folding window...yet I only find a "bi-folding door object".....where can I find a bi-folding window object in AC22's library?

Are not all of those threads about 3rd party libraries...?

Really? Graphisoft never created a window that bifold?

You need a third party window library to have ONE bifold in window?

Wow.......

Why do you even care if it's a door or a window? Give it a classification as a window and window properties are available for scheduling purposes. Alternatively, if you really, really need it to show as a window, you can open the object, change the subtype to "window" and save the object with a new name.

The only issue with that is that doors do not have a bottom frame, so your elevations and sections are incorrect if you do not manually correct for it. Though in Rob's case, that is not an issue as the bottom frame is a table which would be modelled separately anyway.

show me........how I would turn a door into a window so that it schedules "AS" a window properly.

True about the bottom frame but...you can easily mimic a bottom frame with say, a threshold....so that's not too bad.
I just need a "window object" to be a bi-folding window is all. So I can schedule it in the window schedules.

So...I tried to mess with the "subtype" by opening the door object and it messed the object up.
Was able to see that now the "window marker" shows up but it totally trashed the parameters.

So...explain how to do this?

You cannot simply just change the Object Sub-Type as there are parameters that are associated to it by default that are not associated to the new sub-type, and hence will be dropped. These will need to be re-added as custom parameters to the parameter list.
