Hi! how do I remove these lines ? It is already painful that archicad cabinetry library is not customizable enough for designers so I had to create 3 cabinets instead just ONE with different segments and types... Finally I build the 3 cabinets (already a painful experience) , now these lines shows everywhere! I turned off everything in setting and it is still there. there are connected perfectly and have same finish, so it should hide the lines.... I tried also different display orders but nope, nothing works.
- Floor plan shows ok, all seamless, the cabinet edge visibility on side is turned on for a reason and must stay however the other side is turned off and should not show anywhere and especially not in countertop and baseboard.. I mean... I would have to literally explain the carpenter, piece by piece please don't make cuts, it's my software... and no not a free one.
- regarding floor plan, note worth saying, that countertop visibility also does not show, neither backsplash is ... also can't see each line to be customized for one or another (cabinetry/drawers openings, backsplash, carsas...)
@archicad better come with some *real* updates for interior designers and intuitive work based on feedbacks received for years, because I won't be renewing if I have to spend many hours with workarounds taking hours to find , learn or just simply don't work

On windows 11 using Australian libraries....
when placing cabinets side by side so the sides touch....
In Archicad 25 using the Archicad 25 library; the benchtop, kicker and back splash back automatically join.
In Archicad 27 using the Archicad 25 Library; the benchtop, kicker and back splash back automatically join.
but in Archicad 27 using the Archicad 27 library; the benchtop and back splash back automatically join, the kicker doesn't join anymore.
the only change I found was this bit of code;
So somebody did a booboo somewhere....
P.S.
The fix is to add the line elimination mask to the cprism_{3}.
you will need to unpack the library, open the "KitchenLegMacro"
change to mask from "0" to "1+2+4" (technically its just a side connection, so just the 4 should work)
repack the library,
and bingo
it is fixed.
P.P.S.
I found it by opening the cabinet object,
that lead me to the KitchenGeneralMacro,
that lead me to the KitchenFootingMacro,
that lead me to the KitchenLegMacro.
For Archicad 28/29, I haven't checked yet....
P.P.P.S.
I have now checked for the 28/29 Libraries
same cprism_{3} mask set to 0 rather than 1+2+4 line elimination for the footing.
for Archicad 28
KitchenLegMacro
Line 65
for Archicad 29
KitchenLegMacro
Line 135
no break line is shown in the backsplash in Archicad 28 or 29 using "Base Cabinet Block".
cocoloco which Object are you using that gives the break lines in the benchtop backsplash?
Friday
And we worked in Archicad 28 and now 29, and still not fixed.
I think I mentioned this way before, Archicad is just going differences route , which is not interior designers route, if any smaller company. :((
I even checked their roadmap. It’s just looks so out of touch. boooboo

With the CI cabinets tool, you could create a support ticket with Central Innovations and they might be able to help out with this problem ?
