Can not find door tool in ArchCAD 7.0

Hi,
I am a new user of ArchCad 7.0 and while drawing a small plan I find I could not put door because it was not available on the left hand side. I find window tool, slab tool etc on my lleft side but no door tool. I can see the doors in c:/ArchiCad7.0/..../Basic Library files but do not know how to use it from here in my 2D - plan.
Please help.

your palette is probably 'minimised'. if you click and hold on the window tool, you will probably find that the door tool will pop up out of it for selection.

in the "Window" menu (i can't remember exactly where in AC7) there is an option to customise palette shapes. if you choose to have the tool box "extended" the door tool will always show.
