Zone Tool - Construction Method - Inner Edge

Hello dear Archicad Community,
Is there any way for the Zone tool, using the Inner Edge construction method, to pass through a simple opening door and connect two spaces as one, as demonstrated in the attached screenshot?

Change one setting of the wall which divides the two spaces.

Go to the Model section, and change Relation to Zones from "Zone Boundary" to "No effect on Zones".

Note: You will then have to go to Design > Update Zones for the change to take effect.

Thanks for the comments @vistasp.
While I understand and was aware of this option, it doesn’t work for what I am trying to achieve, as the option you’ve shown adds the area covered by the walls to the final calculation of the total room area. This undermines the purpose of using the Inner Edge option, which becomes even more critical in this other example. In the meantime, I am doing it manually, but it is quite time-consuming.QAC28@0.5-2@0.5x.png

What if you split the wall such that, the part which houses the door (and exactly matches its width in plan), has no effect on zones, and the remaining walls continue to act as zone boundaries.

The downside is that, if you move or resize the door, you'll have to remember to modify that section of the wall too.

As vistasp suggests, don't use openings in the walls.

Model the wall nibs and then an overhead wall to create the opening.

If there is a single wall there, it will either act as the boundary or not at all, depending on the settings.

Use individual walls and you will have more control.
