Cantera Stone Wrap

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello,

We are trying to wrap an arch opening with cantera stone. We usually do cantera sills with the beam tool and a custom profile. We can use the same profile and extend this upward with the column tool but we cannot figure how to then curve this around the top of the arch. We could create an object for each window but we are hoping there is a way to use the beam tool and curve it?

Thanks for any help!

You could use the beam tool in plan (use elevation as trace underlay), curve it, convert to morph, and flip it up. Maybe convert back to object.

Isaac:

Another option is to use the D1 Segmented 20 Door, set the Door Leaf to Empty (no leaf) then use the Casing Settings for the stone surround.

Or draw the shape in complex profile and draw a wall or beam with the profile perpendicular to the wall.
