Custom Door Panel

I cannot create a custom door panel in ACAD V9 - I know how to do it - but the "CUSTOM PANEL" box does not APPEAR in the dialogue window.

I downloaded the latest 9 Library.PLA today but that didn't solve the problem.

I even went back to V8.1 but it didn't show there either.

Are you looking for a 2D symbol of your custom door? I have never seen one either. I select the custom door panel option and then type in the name in the door panel type. You do have to remember the exact name that you saved it as though.

Which door object are you trying to place the custom panel in?

I'm trying to insert it in the basic D1 (interior wood/metal), although I've tried everything - including a garage door!

The custom panel option just ain't there (see screenhot)

Try the SE library. I don't think the custom option has ever been in the standard AC9 library? But I might be wrong.

None of the tutorials mention the SE library and the one from Iron Insights is based on the 8.1 library. See: http://www.graphisoft.com/community/envisions/03.11.jtburk.html

It is. I still use the standard library and use custom panels all the time.

I cannot say about the original library AC9 came with, though, which I know did have some different things in it.

AFAIK it is only available in the US AC9 library
