Changing the Fill pen or Fill type should do it.
(And if the materials are the same, for panels & rails,... create a duplicate of
the material with a different name, i.e. "copy")

How can I get the styles and rails on door panel types which have them available in the Archicad 17 library to show up on "BOTh" faces of the door panel?
It appears that in elevation view,......the doors which have the available styles and rail frames only are showing up on ONE side of the door.
Also.....flipping the door to view the rectangular frame around the door doesn't work because that effect merely changes the swing direction of the door......
GS, Got any thoughts?

Try changing the values.
It worked for me in AC18.

To restate: I change the material for the Door Panel's Fill Type and
I'm able to see the rail/panel lines in elevation (the side that didn't
work) and in 3D.
Are we using the same door?
D1 17, Standard 1 Panel
Regardless... I'd say it's a bug.

I have no idea how in the world you figured out that by adjusting some OBSCURE fill pattern in a sub-parameter of this door object forces a change in the door panel to show the styles and rails?....KUDOS to you my friend. thanks.
Now....as long as we are on the subject of doors and their appearances....how would I go about changing the vectoral hatch pattern of the inside panel of that same door we are talking about separate from the styles and rails materials?
meaning...if I wanted the door panel to have, say a vertical 4" wide slats let's say...and the styles an rails to have, say a white paint color...then how would I change that?
