Difficulty Converting Favorites & Library Objects to Library 29

Hi All.  I have a template that I created in V27. I used it in V28, but with the V27 library, I did not update the library. I am trying to update my template for V29 and convert all of my objects and favorites to the library packs and items used in V29 for going forward.  I am having several issues:

Favorites: I downloaded the Favorites Converter Tool. I saved out my favorites from my template after opening the template in V29. After opening the converter tool I have selected the correct folders for the file to convert and the new file location. The information on the tool and the conversion log says' Build SUCCEEDED!'.  When I look in the new folder that it created (Converted Favorites) there are two files: Conversion_log.txt & parameter_changes.csv Neither one has any detailed information in them. From my favorites pallet I select import / Folder (containing XML files) then selected the new folder that was created. Once I do that nothing else happens. I have watched the instructional video. At this point in the video it typically brings up a new window which shows all of the favorites that are being imported. I have done it several times and with various favorites, the same thing happens every time.  Anyone have an idea of how to resolve this? Do I need to do it in V28 first before V29?

Library Parts: I have been able to find new parts for everything except for the detailer's library. A past post for V28 indicated that there is a legacy folder in V28 for the detailer's library. However, this is not included in V29. I have found the Graphisoft Archicad 29 Online Template for download. There are two options, one that includes the detailer's library (#2) embedded in the file.  The other (#1) doesn't have this library. However, I am not able to download #1. I receive an error every time I try to download it. I have downloaded #2. However, from what I read on the website it indicates that we should not rely on the embedded library and that it won't be included in the future. So I am back to wondering how to find these objects that I use without the embedded library? Mostly I use 2D objects like blocking, steel beams, etc. that I add over my cut sections to further detail them.

I would like to make sure that I fix the template the correct way so that I don't have issues in the future when converting to new versions. I have researched on line but cannot find how to resolve these two items.  Help is much appreciated!

I was in the same boat.  We use all of those 2d parts for our sections and plan details.

What I ended up doing was exporting the AC28 Library parts for the Detailer library parts to our Office Library that gets added to each project for all of our custom "stuff"

This keeps me from having to dump that folder into the whole office's C/Drive individually.

This may not be the correct way..But it's the route I went.
