Door Marker size in Elevation

Srinivas

Hi,
I am trying to show door and window markers on elevations in one particular project, but I am having difficulty in controlling the size of the marker shape (circle/octagon) unable to find the parameter that controls their sizes, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
-Srinivas.

Hi Marc,
I uploaded the image again and I did tried changing those values earlier but they seem not to have any affect on the marker size.
Thanks for your help.

Maybe try a different label?

Thanks Marc, the other labels that I have in my library are not working the way I want them to be, I did tried creating a new label but with little luck.

Srinivas:

I took a look at Curtain Wall DW Label 17 (I only have the AC17 Int Library) and in that label the size is controlled by the AC_MarkerSize parameter, which is hidden (there is some other code to size the marker according to its interior text). So you might look at the copy you made, find this parameter, unhide it (by deselecting the "X" in the Parameter List), save the label, then see if this corrects the issue.

Your signature shows AC12, but the screen shots show AC15 and AC16 labels, so indicating the correct AC version would be very helpful.

Thanks David,
I will fix the signature, I did checked the code for the library part, but I am not sure on how to turn on the AC_MarkerSize parameter, I can't find it in the parameter list and that's where I got stuck.

Srinivas:

In the label I have the AC_MarkerSize parameter is near the bottom of the Parameters List, about 15 parameters up. There is a bold "X" in the left column, select the parameter and click the "X" to show the parameter.

Srinivas,
Eric Bobrow has a tutorial on this, about 14 minutes in, or so. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_8czLAbuJA&list=PL5531C745C2D1437C&index=10

Thanks David and Richard, I did have a look at the tutorial, its the library part that was the problem, I will try to fix that, thank you so much for stepping in and helping me.
