Door threshold not visible

I have been battling this issue for years and i still don't understand what is what. sometimes i can get the door threshold to show in plan, but sometimes can't. i thought i had it figured out on the last job. if i set the structural display to "without finishes" the showed up. but in this model, nothing i do makes them visible. the documentation tells me nothing other than to turn thresholds on and set the parameters. what am i missing here?

Are the thresholds scale dependent?
i.e. they will show at a larger scale but not at a smaller scale?
Or is there an option in the Model View Options to turn them on or off?

What door object is it that you are using?

Hello Barry,
you know, i can't find any settings for scale sensitivity. I'm using AC 18 the door is D1 entrance with 2 side lights and D1 18. there are no options in the model view to turn thresholds on or off. where is the scale sensitivity options?

I don't use the Graphisoft doors but I loaded the AUS library and we have a 'Door 18'.
Not sure how similar it is to your door but we have a section for the threshold settings.

I downloaded a US sliding door from BIM Components (I couldn't see any hinged entrance doors) but that does not have the same threshold options.
But I notice in the parameter list you can control the threshold line type and pen - you just can't turn it on or off.
Which again makes me wonder if it is controlled in the Model View Options.

Maybe it is the fill type and pen colours?
Change from 'Custom Settings' to 'All Parameters" and see what is set for those.

I have these options for scale sensitivity in the object.

I have these settings, but they don't seem to make a difference.
