Dynamic roof pitch identifier

I have asked about this before - but thought I'd see if there was anymore information out there.

I know there is a library part you can use to label your roof pitches.
But if you change your roof pitch the label doesn't change.

So - I am wondering if anyone has made one yet.
For plan and / or section views. ..

like the elevation dimension marker you can put on a slab or mesh or something using the gravity option, and it will pick up the elevation/ height of it and changes when you move the slab up or down.

I did just find this thing - Im not sure where it came from- but it has this error message that pops up, and I don't know how to make it say 3/12 or similar. Have you guys ever seen it?

Which roof pitch label are you using?
Does it have the capability to show pitch as you want and not as a degree slope? Or does this need to be added to the script?

I think this is a label I might have downloaded from some time ago when i was looking for something like this.
Its just called Roof A+S, and it gets that error message, and no it wont show the pitch, just the degrees

I couldn't locate that label.

The error message is generated as it says by the 2D script. You need to fix that.
Regarding the slope designation, you downloaded an object without the capability to display as you wish. Either have someone amend it to display as you want, or find another.

There were a couple of roof accessories that did what you want posted here on architalk, you might see if one of them will work in current versions of AC.

Still looking for one for elevation or section view

Didn't find the answer?
