You can add hotspots to move and rotate the text but as Piotr said you have to edit the text value in the parameters of the object.

If you are only looking for one string of text, you can use the ELEMENT ID...
I've done that on a bunch of objects...
Whatever you type in the ID can be displayed in the object...

I did not write about the ID field...(I used it as well) because it is not a good BIM solution especially if IFC export will take place afterwords and the object is not a plain text object but a BIM element.
