I have one specific question. Im modelling some basic shapes (box), that are same dimensions and material.
I need to see them in 3d with their own outlines, not to bee merged.

Use different materials? This can just be a duplicate of your selected material.

you need to cheat, leave a 0.5mm gap between the boxes, this btw if you would render these boxes as glass prevents a double face too. Double faces can cause render problems.
