Find & Replace NOT WORKING IN SCRIPTS?

I'm trying to revise and update some parts for a client and it seems that Find & Replace is not working for text in scripts.

Can someone please confirm if this is a general problem or just me? I don't see how it could have been missed if it is common but I also can't think how it would be a localized problem.

It is a HUGE effing pain in the afterburner. There's no way I'm hunting through the scripts to manually change this. I guess I'll have to copy/paste to something that does work. GRRRR!!!!!

Matthew it's the same also for me, from the first release of AC 16.
The workaround I found is not using the find & replace all the occurences but just find & subsitute the first one and then using the shortcut to repeat the command till the last occurence (on my localized version is command T).
I agree with you it's a real pain...

Thanks Fabrizio,

I can't believe this happened at all let alone been allowed to persist so long.

I sure hope it's fixed in 17.

FWIW I ended up pasting the scripts into BBedit. I'll keep the command+T in mind for the future.

I discovered that the Find & Replace only works in the main GDL window - if you open the scripts as secondary windows it won't work in them.

It almost seems like it's intentional rather than a bug, though I'm not sure what the benefits are.
