In my Office we are preparing the updating to AC 8.1 and, good luck:shock: , the installation of some user of AutoCAD 2005 working on the same projects. I don't choice this solution, but i wan't to manage this the less badly possible. Sharing a Library in AC 8.1 and AutoCAD 2005 will be for me the good solution.
Does exist a full version of GDL Adapter ? When sort the compatible AC 8.1 version (promised for July 2004 in the Graphoisoft's Site) ? Does exist another tool who can transform archiCAD Object in AutoCAD one ?
Thanks for answers.
Sorry for bad English (few practice many years ago).

I receive few days ago from Abvent Industrie the Full Version of GDL Adapter 2.0 who works perfectly with ArchiCAD7 and AutoCAD 2002 without limit of objects. But i don't have any information for a new version of GDL Adapter(3.0?) compatible with ArchiCAD 8.1 and AutoCAD 2004 or 2005.
Any informations ?

Beware GDL adapater in AutoCad!!
We found a bug, and although it was reported to Graphisoft, I don't think it was ever fixed.
The bug... try dragging an object by selecting one of its handles (hotspots, I suppose) without using the AutoCad 'Move' tool. For us that caused AutoCad to hang - and produced corrupt files.
It works fine if you move an object with the 'Move' tool.
AFAIK, if you have other ArchiCad libraries the free downloadable version does not have a limit of only 20 objects, it's just that you get only 20 objects when you download the Adapter.
