GDL Global ID as numeric value

Hi there,
I want to use Global _Id as a numeric object. can i convert it to a numeric value?
ie I want to enter a number in the global id field & i want to use it in a formula, m2 to sq.ft

It comes from hungarian-english language and
ArchiCAD 13 GDL Reference Guide, page 277;
'Fill parameters - available for listing and labels only'
