How do import LCF or DWG files in to my drawings?

There are a couple of ways to bring in a DWG file.
Probably the best is to use the 'Drawing' tool.
Select it and then click on your plan (2D) window.
Now browse for the file - you may have to change the file type to DWG.
The LCF is a Library Container File that contains many objects.
You must load this via the Library Manager (ADD button).
Once loaded then you can go to the object tool (or door/window/stair/railing tools depending on what objects are in the LCF) to choose the objects.

LCF = library container file
In other words, think of it as a zipped folder containing library parts.
If you don't see any objects, the library might contain other library parts such as doors, windows or even surfaces.
