How do you make downloaded objects work?

I went to the depository which allowed me to go to the list of pay/free sites where I can download content. I selected a window from Archibaseplanet.com and downloaded it to my drive. I then extracted the documents and tried using library manager to load the window for use but when I click on window, the one I downloaded never shows up. When I try to load it and place it I get macro errors and nothing ever works.

Can someone tell me how to properly access these downloaded symbols?

I suspect that your downloaded window came into ArchiCAD as an object not as a window element. This might be able to be changed with some GDL scripting, but I can say for certain.

You could place it with the object tool, but it won't cut the walls properly nor would it schedule properly.
