As a work around I can use the global variable for the Partial Structure Display but it means changing two settings rather than just one to get a framing plan to appear correctly.
Thanks

It is usually the REQUEST functions that can be used to obtain such information. I checked the GDL Reference and there are REQUEST functions for Window/Door and Cut Fill states but not Beam options.
To be honest I always thought that GDL should be able to get any setting in these settings Dialogs (like On-Screen View Options, Model View Options, Project Preferences).
You should make a wish for this if you want it to be in a future version.

Laszlo,
Thanks for the reply. I figured I would need to use the REQUEST function but did not see a way to do it myself so I figured that perhaps someone here would know a method.
I will search the wishes and if there is not one already, I will post a new wish.
