Kitchen Sinks that are located correctly

Is there a way to have a standard stainless steel double bowl kitchen sink be placed in a slab/counter top (vs the counter that is included in the cabinet library) and also have it go through the slab....? Or must one buy $$ a separate sink etcetc....

Thanks Ben -although that is does not appear to be an easy slam-dunk solution for this CAD novice, but I will give it a try with the Reference guide book fully open.

you hinted that you would rather not buy separate sinks and the like: but if you are doing a lot of this type of kitchen, bathroom or bedroom joinery then you should consider 'cabinet builder' from cadimage:

it's not without it's own quirks, but it does give you far greater flexibility and design control than the build-in generic GS library objects do . . .

- place your slab counter;
- place a standalone kitchen sink object, (library: 1.1 Furnishing/Appliances/...), in the desired location relative to the slab;
- use solid element operations (read the manual) to subtract the sink from the slab . . . possibly using the '... with upward extrusion' method.
