Library Objects Background

Is there a way to set a new default color for the background color of the objects?. By default, my library shows them always with a pink-ish color (color 19). Is there a way to set the Background color (-1) as the default color?

Do You use library created for version 9 or lower? In old versions pen 91 was a standard pen for backgrounds, it changed in AC10

NO, i'm using Archicad 15 with its own library. So far the easiest solution I've found is to simply change the 19th color to white but I was wondering if it would be posible to somehow choose background color (-1) instead of white.

MOS3JOKER:

The way to change the default setting of a library part is to open the part (Open Object...), click on the Parameters tab, change the Value of the parameter, then Save the library part. These parts will get overwritten when Graphisoft updates the library, so the parts need to be saved to another folder, or the process repeated when the library is upgraded. Another approach is to use Favorites with the preferred settings.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Thanks David, but the way you describe has to be done to each object individually? I think I'm gonna try the Favorites thing, although I've never used it before.

I'll add a signature too.

Yes.

I think changing the color of pen 19 to be white is the fastest approach, but Favorites should be a viable option and allow you to tweak other parameters of each object if desired.
