Library parts Explod

With AC7 and older versions, when you explode a 2d library parts the curves stay curves, but with AC8.0 the curves turn to segments.
Is there any solution to use AC8 in exploding the 2d library parts the same way as AC7?

I have not had this problem (though I wish polylines in the library part would explode to polylines in plan). Perhaps it is your magic wand settings. Is it set to line segments?

check this file. it was a 2d library part and i exploded...
all the curves turned to segments...
it's turning me nuts...!!
i need my curves backkkk...
