Library parts wanted

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has some 3d objects that I could have or get from somewhere. I have looked all over the net but nothing has really taken my fancies.

Objects I was looking for are :

Nice looking Palm Tree
3d Text (where you can stretch the texts width)
And some lamp posts

I'm using V8 so any version under that is great.

The "20th Anniversary Library" for AC7.0.3 has some good street and traffic objects. I don't know what the copyright restrictions are for sharing, you might check with your local reseller.

Hint, don't restrict your search to just the ArchiCAD community... If you find any 3D AutoCAD, 3DS, etc. models that you like on-line you could always convert them into ArchiCAD objects.

I do have the anniversary cd library and it has nothing either.

Do you want 3d text that is pure lines? I have one such, it shows on sections and elevations and in Open GL 3d, but being pure lines does not appear on renderings. Although its only one font, it has quite a variety of forms (italic, condensed, extended) and highly variable in size, and is designed to work as a macro if any GDL users want to include it in their other objects. Not on Objects on line yet, but may be later if OOL is still operating.
If you want completely solid 3d text, surely that is already in the ArchiCAD library, or has it been moved to such an obscure folder that noone can find it any more? I suspect the latter.

hey that sounds good.

There is a 3d text already in archicad but it can onlt adjust height not width so something simliar would be nice.

How do I get a hold of you version?

It's not the greatest, but did you know the Tree Palm 3d can look "OK" if you make the following changes....

1. Change 3d to DETAILED
2. Add "lnum" is an INTEGER parameter
3. Delete the line in the 3d script that says lnum = 6

for 3d text you will find a good one in archiforma gdl demo library - but with copyright . I dont know if you have the right to
modify it.

the gdl script locked objects can be unlocked by saving them with "black turtle" beta -( free download from abvent )

I've kept this under the same topic - but it's different library parts I need.

Anyone have, or know where I can get, ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) to a bank project?

I've looked in GDL Central, but it's not the kind of thing they have.

Takes less time to search an internet image of the object (atm) and to
map the texture on a resonable size prism . or to make an object with archiforma.
In render you will not see the difference.
