Multiple versions.. say what?

I have had this happen twice last week.. and I don't get it. I make a stair, save it. Save it again without rails, and give it a different name. I am told I have duplicates, but they have different names, and numbers????

Any ideas how to fix this for peaceful coexistence?

thanks

I've had that happen, too. It doesn't seem to want to save a stair that has already been saved-even if changes have been made to it. Sorry, no ideas here-just frustrations.

This has been discussed... Sorry I don't have time to search out the section... But the GUID gets duplicated and then forever more you are screwed.

It is, in fact, worse than just seeing the DUPLICATES show in the library loading dialog. Sometimes, AC will REPLACE one of the duplicates with the other when you open a file!...

I had this happen a lot when building custom windows. Kept replacing my cool custom windows with an EMPTY opening that I also created.

bugger...
