Object 2d Preview scale problem

I'm being a bit lazy possibly but I'm using a number of jpeg images to allow the user to choose a particular symbol to display and position on a 2d door elevation object.

The problem is when in the Object settings dialogue window the jpeg displays at a huge size compared to the door but once inserted the jpeg appears correctly.

Any idea how I can fix this?

AC versions 3.41 to 25 (UKI Full 5005).
Using AC25 5005 UKI FULL
Mac OSX 10.15.7 (19G2021) Mac Pro-2013 32gbRam AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB graphics
