Someone posted the autoscripted 3D script for a window
and I noticed that the dimensions were in meters and
the number of places or range that AC had written out
was 13 places.
I made a slab in plan with working units set to meters
and saved special, save as archicad object.
I opened the 3D script and found that Archicad had
written out the dimensions to only seven places.
Why the difference?
Is it a platform issue?
Is it a localization issue?
Puzzled (and envious)

I think it is just accuracy of numbers stored in GDL script has been increased between AC 7.0 and AC 8. There is nothing special to worry about.

Laszlo,
Thank you for your reply.
I did not know that AC had increased it's accuracy.
I must have missed this in the documentation.
This is good news.
