Resize_A_B_ZZYZX

Hello,
I was looking at the 2D script for the AC 8.1 library part
called "Cab Base 3d" and there is a macro call:
CALL "Resize_A_B_ZZYZX" PARAMETERS ALL
I can not find this file on my computer using the "Find" function.
I checked script to see if I would get an error like Can't find macro ".....
at line..... but check script was OK.
Anyone know what this file is and where it is kept?
Thank you,
Peter Devlin

The macro is archived in the Archicad.PLA.

To open it, simply highlight it in the GDL script you were looking at, then press Command-Shift-o to open the macro.

Hello Tom,
Thanks for replying.
When you say the Archicad.PLA, do you mean
the "Archicad Library 8.1.pla"?
I use the extracted library" Archicad Library 81.lib". so that I can open
library parts for editing.
The files in the extracted library can be seen
in the hard drive directory whereas in the non-extracted form they can't.

I tried doing what you said, highlight the name of the macro
and then press command+shift+o and nothing happened.
I also tried command+o because in the key board short cuts
"Open"=command+o but nothing happened.
I tried changing the name of the macro to test whether the
"check script" was working and it gave me an error
"Can't find Macro at line ..."

I'm stumped. Where is this macro kept? How can I open it?
Thanks,
Peter

To anyone who might be interested.
Being unable to find the macro "Resize_A_B_ZZYZX" using
the find function with name contains....
even with "visible and invisible",
I researched keyboard shortcuts and found the shortcut
for Open Library part=command+option+'O' (not command+shift+'O')
I decided that I would trick AC into revealing where "Resize_A_B_ZZYZX"
was kept.
I highlighted the name of the macro in the 2D script hit
command+option+'O' and the macro opened.
I "Saved As" (identical name) in a different folder in the loaded libraries
closed the file, closed the project, and quit.
I launched AC 8.1 opened a project and "Library manager" states that
there are two duplicate library parts (of course).
Library manager says that there is a library part named "Resize_A_B_ZZYZX" in a folder called Archicadresources lib..
Get info says that "Archicadresources" is a shared library resource.
not a folder, not openable, etc.
Mystery solved.

As to what it is, It is a library part that creates 2D and 3D editable
hotspots at the 2D and 3D bounding box corners as defined by A,B,ZZYZX
parameters.
It might be useful for getting 3D editing to work more reliably and/or
much more ???.

For what its worth,
Peter Devlin
