Yes I have a model from Sketchup, which gives me limited functionality. I was hoping for something better out there with some GDL options.

If you are just wanting surface options, those should be relatively easy to insert if you can figure out which part is which. Though depending on how the converter breaks down the model, that may or may not as easy as a "find and compare" or a couple of skips...
