Saving group of objects as a single favorite?

Is there a way to save multiple objects arranged in specific way as a single favorite item? I know about saving them as an object(gdl) but it's not what I'm looking for.

No, A favourite is one element only.
Have you tried saving as a module?
This will retain all of the original elements and all of their settings.
