scale representation/format in ArchiCad in feet and inches

Hi there,

I spent quite a lot of time trying to customise the scale format in ArchiCAD, but couldn`t find the way to do it. When using feet and inches and organising views on the layout, the representation of the scale 1"-1'-0" takes up too much space in the drawing title.

I wish there would be a way to change this.

I tried to creat my own drawing title, but I couln`t find the way to modify the scale format in Autotext, therefore it doesn`t help...

If anybody has a solution to this, please let me know the answer.

Regards,

I am wondering if it would be possible for you to create a Property, in which you manually type the exact format and text you need, then use Autotext to display that Property in the Title.
Or, it is also possible to create a custom field in the Project Info Dialog, manually type the exact format and text you need, then use Autotext to display that value in the Title.

We just put things in autotext fields in the views, instead of using titles.

You see some 'weird' autotext on your floorplans, sections etc, but once placed on layout everything looks the way we want.
