As far as I know GDL has no way of reading IFC values.

Apparently, this is possible in GDL:

If you look into the Tags and Categories Label's script, these GDL commands are used in one of its macros to get those parameters and their values.

Looks like you can read the values as Laszlo suggested (can't say I have tried).
I hope it is not like the Project Info where you can read and display the value but you can't actually use it because it is only an autotext value.
