What is the issue with using the Threshold option?

The threshold has to be a little wider than the wall - can't even be the same width.
It certainly can't be less, so it can't match the width of the side frames as most aluminium frames do.

Thanks for the response. This is what I've figured for the threshold. The best I could do to make it less visible is to have the overhang at 5mm.
I do hope more track options will be available for future Archicad versions to cope up with modern design trends.

Rather than track options, it would be better to be an extension of the Complex Profile Frame wish which is somewhere around here, but we all know how long some of those wishes have been around for...
